Without the Saints in play last week, the Philadelphia Eagle have become our favorites on a week to week basis. I’m pretty sure this will change by the end of the week but they have pulled off a couple of big wins back to back. We saw one undefeated team show some weakness and we saw another show they are ready for the big run. What happens in the playoffs is still weeks ahead. For now, let us focus on the upcoming week’s games.
Some Pretty Impressive Showings this Week
- A San Francisco 49er through four TD’s in one game for the first time since 2012.
- This was the first time the Panthers beat the Titans at home.
- The Dolphins got their first win since Week 14 in 2018.
- Russell Wilson keeps crushing it. Five TD passes in one game.
- Chargers get their first win against the Packers in franchise history – Crazy Stat!!
With some interesting facts from week nine, we can only breakdown some new picks for week 10. We are now in double digits which means the season is really going to fly by. Here are some of the games you should pay attention too.
Arizona Cardinals @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
Both of these teams are 1-2 years out from being playoff contenders. It takes time for teams to develop into what they want to be. However, both of these teams are finding some nice gameplay. We think a cross country trip into Tampa may require a couple more points but we like the Cards and the points. We are taking the Cardinals on the road +5.5.
Updated – This ended up being a tight game but the Bucs couldn’t cover. Sometimes the points are a good thing.
Atlanta Falcons @ New Orleans Saints
The Saints are back in action and you know what the means. We will be taking the Saints. We are a little concerned about them coming off a bye week but Atlanta isn’t very good. The Saints will get the win and will most likely cover. Saints at home -13. Take this Pick at FanDuel.
Updated- We finally lost a Saints bet and in this case, it was bad. No one saw this coming. Even getting points would have lost. They’ll bounce back.
Buffalo Bills @ Cleveland Browns
Not much to say here. Both of these teams aren’t producing as many points as people anticipated at the beginning of the year. This may be the week both teams score but I don’t expect this to be a back-forth TD game. We are taking under 40.5.
Updated – Just a boring came that covered the under. Not much to say.
Kansas City Chiefs @ Tennessee Titans
This is shaping up to be a trap game for the Chiefs. We aren’t going to fall for it. Although the Chiefs haven’t been that good for us this year, we do think this week they get the win by 10. We are going to take the Chiefs -4.5 on the road.
Updated – We are done with the Chiefs this year. Just when you think they should cover they don’t. They had this one.
Los Angeles Rams @ Pittsburgh Steelers
Getting points at home is one of our favorite plays. When the Steelers are getting points we really like it. Although the Rams have ramped it up lately, remember the Steelers have done so as well. Both teams will need the win but we are riding the Steelers with points at home. Take the +4.
Updated – Look back in history on this one. Points at home for the Steelers is the way to go.
This covers the picks for this week. We took a variety of plays and are feeling pretty confident. Some things could change the outcome, like weather or injuries so we’ll be watching that closely. Another game to watch is the Vikings at Cowboys over. The number is 48 and could rise. This could turn into a shootout so enjoy.
