Another crazy week killed us during the divisional games. All of these games were in sight but couldn’t give us the line. We saw Houston blow a 24 point lead and get smoked. The Vikings didn’t even put up a fighting chance. Seattle missing a late two-point conversion gave us a kick in the groin. The only shining moment was the Tennessee Titans game. They not only showed up, but they also crushed the best team in the NFL. The Ravens looked helpless against Travis Henry and their stout defense. We have two games left before the Super Bowl, so hopefully, we can go two for two. Before we can into our exclusive Conference Championship picks, let’s go over some of the cool facts from the divisional week.
Some Interesting Facts From the Divisional Round
- The San Francisco 49ers only gave up 147 total yards. The fewest amount of yards in a playoff game.
- Since 2002, the Titans have advanced the Conference Championship.
- The Chiefs scored a lot of points. In fact, they score more points in a playoff in franchise history.
- Davante Adams now holds the record for the most amount of yards by a WR in a playoff game.
This sums up last week. It’s time to get that behind us and find two solid picks for this weekend. We have to dig deep and we feel that destiny is in play here. We are talking 100 years of football. Let’s see what the NFL wants in the Super Bowl. How about a State Farm match-up between Mahomes and Rodgers. This will be a high ticket price for the Super Bowl for sure. Let’s get into it.
Tennessee Titans @ Kansas City Chiefs
The AFC conference championship no one really expected. The Titans are playing some great football and nothing tells us they can’t go on the road and win outright. In fact, this is a possibility but we aren’t falling for it. We think the Chiefs will win this game. We don’t think they will win big, however. This one is set up to trap bettors on Tennessee, which isn’t what we want to see but we have to take the points on the road. They are the one team that we could count on last week. We are taking the Titans on the road in Kansas City at +7.5.
Green Bay Packers @ San Francisco 49ers
This game is bringing back some old school opponents for a conference championship game everyone wanted. Will the Packers pull it off on the road? We think yes. We also think the games is already scripted. Not only are we taking the points we are also taking the Moneyline in this game (+290). It’s meant to be. The money is on the Packers right now and you can expect the points to drop at least a half of a point. We are jumping on it early to lock in our bet. PerkyBets is taking the Pack +7.5 on the road.
Other Potential Bets
We aren’t thinking about prop bets in either game. We do like the Over in the Kansas City game. We think both teams will be ready to put up some points. Tennessee will stop the Chiefs more than Houston did but they will still put up some points. We think the 49ers/Packers game will be a back and forth game. We like the over in this one for sure.
Still, deciding where to take your bets? How about you read our DraftKings vs. FanDuel page to see if this helps you make your decision. We want you to bet safe and be smart with your bankroll. Good luck this weekend.
