The NFL is a week to week league and you never what might happen. Paying attention and taking some risky bets sometimes pays off but who knew that the Saints would fall flat on their faces. We’ve been sticking with them for a while now and although they had a lot of points to cover, we didn’t expect them to lose. If we look at last week, things got a little weird but the NFL showed its true form. Let’s not even talk about the Colts losing to the Dolphins at home.
Before we get into this week’s picks let’s discuss some interesting facts from the past week.
Some Actionable Items in Week 10
- Lamar Jackson remains on fire with 7 total TD’s in the past two weeks.
- Aaron Jones for Green Bay ran for another three touchdowns in a game.
- The Falcons woke up on Defense with 6 sacks in the game. They only had 6 sacks on their previous 7 games.
- Dolphins beat the Colts for the first time in six years.
- We took Seattle last night and Russell Wilson was the main reason.
These are some pretty interesting facts from week 10. New things happen each week so we’ll have to see what week eleven brings us. Make sure you open your account at FanDuel or DraftKings if you live in their working states. Below we will cover the picks of the week.
Thursday Night Special
Pittsburgh Steelers @ Cleveland Browns
Something is happening here and I’m not sure what to think. The Steelers, who are playing some awesome defense are getting points on the road in Cleveland. The Browns finally found a win against the Bills but are the Bills like the Steelers? They may carry some momentum into Thursday night but the Steelers have a ton of it as well. The Steelers own the Browns. We have to take the Steelers on the road +2.5.
Updated – Okay, so I was wrong on this one. I really don’t know what to think about this rivalry anymore.
Denver Broncos @ Minnesota Vikings
Minnesota is starting to pull it together nicely. They are coming off a nice win against the Cowboys on the road on Sunday night. Do they win this game against the Broncos? We think so but they are most likely not going to win by 10.5. The Broncos are coming off a nice win against Cleveland and then had a bye week. They will be fresh and ready. Take the Broncos +10.5.
Updated – Denver did everything possible to blow this one but 10.5 points was a lot.
Houston Texans @ Baltimore Ravens
On paper, these two teams are matching up pretty good. Are the Ravens due for a letdown game? The books are pressing the Texans here and want you to bet on the Ravens. They know the Texans could win this game on the road. We aren’t falling for it. We are taking the Ravens at home -4.5. Some Jedi-Mind-Tricks.
Updated – The Ravens are looking hot and ready. This was another blowout win.
Jacksonville Jaguars @ Indianapolis Colts
Coming off a bad loss to the Dolphins we have to ride the comeback from the Colts. This game could come down to a field goal and at that point, we can push the bet. We like the Colts and will ride them at -3.
Updated – This was another blowout game and we were on the right side of it.
Arizona Cardinals @ San Francisco 49ers
The Cardinals are playing good football lately and should come into 49er territory and show up. They might not win but they will give them a game. The 49ers are coming off a tough loss against the Seahawks and will want to bounce back. We are taking the points and the Cardinals +11.5.
Updated – Probably the most exciting game of the week but luckily Arizona was playing up to the speed of the 49ers.
Cincinnati Bengals @ Oakland Raiders
The Bengals need to find a way to win. The Raiders will end up winning this game but the Bengals will fight in this one. If they get a late pick-six to pull off the cover so be it but as of right now we are going with lucky 11 and taking the Bengals with the +10.5 points.
Updated – Interesting enough this game pretty much ended on a pick as we mentioned. Thank goodness it wasn’t for a pick-six.
This pretty much covers a good chunk of games you can put some units on. Nothing really stands out at this point. You have to look at teams with something to play for. Teams that have packed it in will give up a lot of the points. However, look at the Dolphins, they are not the second-worst team anymore. You still need to be careful.
Keep an eye out for good overs as well. Make sure you check out our list of sites you can place your wagers depending on where you are located. We’ll update this page as the game finish.
